First Holy Communion Prayers

These prayers have been written by Year 3 children as part of their preparation for receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.

‘Come and See’

For many years, the school used ‘Hear I am’ to deliver religious education. The Archdiocese has introduced an exciting new programme called ‘Come and See’. Resources have been purchased and the programme has been rolled out across the school.

Why do we have Catholic Schools?

This was the theme of the Training Day held at Belmont Abbey led by Dom Andrew Berry, a Benedictine Monk.

Rosary Club

This meets every Tuesday at 12.30pm in Year 3 classroom. All children are encouraged to attend along with staff who are free. If you would like more information on praying the Rosary, click here.

Staff Prayers

All staff are welcome to join us for Staff Prayers on Friday mornings in the staff room at 8.30am.

Prayer Group

A Prayer Group meets every Thursday morning at 8.40am prompt to pray for special intentions and say a decade of the Rosary. All pupils, parents and parishioners are welcome to attend. We meet in Y2 classroom.
